Dr. Satheeshchandra S, Secretary

Dr. Satheeshchandra S, the Secretary of SDM Educational Society has formerly served as the Principal of SDM College, Ujire and Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at the college. He holds an experience of 36 years in academics. He mastered in M.Sc from Mangalore University, and completed his Ph.D. from Tumkur University on the topic “Synthesis, growth and structural investigation of pi conjugated NLO materials.”

He has formerly also held the positions of NSS Programme officer, Chairman of the committee for NAAC criteria , Dean of science faculty, Head of the Department of Physics, Vice Principal and Principal of SDM College, Ujire and Deputy Secretary of SDME Society. He has been awarded the ‘Best NSS Programme officer –Karnataka State award for the year 1999-2000’. Dr. Satheeshchandra S has authored and published 6 international research papers.
He has been designated as the Secretary of SDM Educational Society since July 2022.
